Delete your Simple WOD Timer account
Last updated: September 28, 2026
This page explains how to delete your account and your data, what is deleted and what is kept.
1. From the app
- Open Simple WOD Timer on your phone.
- Go to the Profile tab, then tap the gear icon to open Settings.
- Tap Delete my data.
- Read the summary, then press and hold the button to confirm.
You need an internet connection: your data is deleted from our servers first, then from your phone.
2. Without the app
If you no longer have the app, email contact@simplewodtimer.com from the email address of the Google or Apple account you signed in with, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will delete your account and data within 30 days and confirm by email.
3. What is deleted
- Your account and its sign-in identities (Google, Apple).
- Your workout history and the workouts (WODs) saved with it.
- Your saved timers.
- Your synced preferences (language, timer appearance and sounds).
- The videos you uploaded to the cloud, their thumbnails and their share links. The links stop working immediately.
- The account data stored on your phone by the app.
Deleted data may remain in our encrypted server backups for up to 7 days, after which it is gone for good.
4. What is kept
- Videos in your phone's gallery. They belong to you and stay on your phone.
- Your subscription. Deleting your account does not cancel it. Cancel it from Google Play or the App Store.
- Purchase records held by Google Play, the App Store and our subscription provider, as required for accounting and tax purposes.
- A one-way fingerprint of your sign-in identity, which contains no email, name or identifier and cannot be reversed. It only records the free cloud videos already used, so that they are not offered twice.
- Bug reports and suggestions you sent, detached from your account: they no longer say who wrote them.
- Anonymous usage statistics and crash reports. They contain no workout content, no name and no email, and are not linked to your account. They are deleted automatically at the end of their retention period.
5. Delete only some data
You can delete a cloud video without deleting your account: in the History tab, on a session with a cloud video, choose Delete from the cloud. Its link stops working and the video stays in your gallery.
To delete other data without deleting your account, for example your workout history or your saved timers, email contact@simplewodtimer.com from the email address of the Google or Apple account you signed in with, and tell us what to delete. We will do it within 30 days and confirm by email.
